Our HeadStarters are doing brilliantly on their journey through the HeadStarter Road Map!
They’ve already visited key areas including the HeadStart School, the Wellbeing Park, and the Re‑Charging Station, gaining confidence and important knowledge along the way.
The group recently took part in their first health campaign, where they designed and created fantastic posters for International Happiness Day. Their work has already been shared across HeadStart’s social media channels—an amazing achievement for such a new cohort!
This is a very enthusiastic group who are excited for the rest of their educational pathway. Each week, previous HeadStarters have been supporting delivery as part of their progression towards the Gold Award, showing wonderful leadership and teamwork.

Mrs Percival – The Mental Health Champions are doing a fantastic job supporting children on the playground, helping to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. They show real care and kindness in their interactions, making a difference each day. Their enthusiasm really shines through in the “Thrive on Thursday” club, where they actively encourage wellbeing and bring energy and positivity to all who take part.
