Kings Academy success!
Students from The Kings Academy have recently completed their HeadStarter bronze award. The HeadStarter bronze award prepares the students to become mental health champions within their school. Sessions around healthy relationships, coping strategies, mood, friendships as well as others have all been completed.
Students from years 8 and 9 are now working on their silver award where they are hoping to deliver a project to next years new year 7 students. Work has had to be planned and delivered in a short space of time as transition activities begin week commencing 10th July.
Given the efforts and hard work that the students put in for their bronze award, their project will no doubt be a massive success!
