Hello,
I hope you’ve had a great start to the week!
I’m writing from Theatre Hullabaloo to share information about our upcoming 6-week sing and play programme ‘Let’s Play’, which is open for referrals from health and family service professionals. If you are working with any parents of babies aged under 2, then this free programme can support with improving post-natal depression scores, strengthen bonds between parent and baby, and support parental confidence in how to play with their little one.
The programme is led by an artist-musician with a specialism in early years, supported by a Hullabaloo host and a Programme Manager, and will continue to be evaluated by Dr Paige Davis, a development psychologist and research partner at the University of Leeds.
The sessions are from 1st October – 5th November on Wednesdays at Park End Family Hub in Middlesbrough at the following times:
10.00am – for ages 12 months+
11.30am – for ages 6-12 months
1.00pm – for ages 0-6 months
We’ve found that grouping by age of the babies is really effective in supporting parents to build their own networks of peers.
If you’d like to sign someone up for the programme, please do complete the following link: https://airtable.com/appxdDm0CzDyS2wIE/shrEzGeuoKZOxr5C8.
More information is also in the attached leaflet. If you have any questions please do let me know!
Many thanks,
Chloe
