Beyond the Symptom, a skills-based training on eating disorders from Beat , the UK’s eating disorder charity have training for professionals. The training is seen as crucial for healthcare professional and will enable the participants to recognise when the underlying cause of a problem is an eating disorder and understand how to effectively and sensitively support the individual into treatment.
These courses start Wednesday 13th September with other dates available until December and more will be confirmed in 2024. The dates for the Beyond Symptoms training programme sessions are as follows:
- September – 1 course (13th September 09:30 -16:30)
- October – 2 courses (16th October 09:30-13:30, 23rd October 09:30-13:30)
(27th October 09:30-16:30)
- November – 1 course (9th November 09:30- 16:30)
- December – 1 course (5th December 09:30-13:30, 12th December 09:30-13:30)
