Carers Week is a national campaign that shines a spotlight on the vital role unpaid carers play in our families and communities. It raises awareness of the challenges they face, celebrates their contributions, and helps more people identify themselves as carers so they can access the support they need.
In South Tees, We Care You Care is leading the local campaign and making it easy for everyone to get involved. They’ve created six simple pledges, each with a practical action you can take to show your support. Whether you’re a carer yourself, an employer, or a member of the community, there’s a pledge for you. 👉 Visit the Carers Week Pledge page to explore the pledges and make your commitment today.
Throughout the week, there’s a range of events and activities taking place across South Tees from information sessions to wellbeing workshops offering opportunities to connect, learn, and access support. 📅 Check out the Carers Week Timetable to see what’s happening near you.
If you’re a professional or volunteer in a public-facing role and want to learn how to better identify and support carers in your community, join the We Care You Care team for a Carers Awareness Session:
