In March 2023 the HeadStart service received funding from Anglo American’s Achieve educational programme to strengthen delivery in Redcar and Cleveland secondary schools.
This will enable all secondary settings to be supported by the HeadStart team to embed a resilience approach and curriculum across the whole school.
Work has commenced and initially the team will be delivering the HeadStarters educational pathway and providing support pupils who are transitioning from primary education.
This is an exciting development and the HeadStart service are delighted to be supported by Anglo America as part of their investment into children and young people’s education and health.
